COVID Recovery Program
The COVID Recovery Program (CRP) is an integrated, multidisciplinary program designed for individuals experiencing persistent symptoms following COVID-19 infection. These post-COVID conditions may include anxiety, depression, cognitive or memory difficulties, sleep disturbance, shortness of breath, weakness, fatigue, pain, changes in smell or taste, difficulty swallowing, and other ongoing symptoms that may affect daily functioning and quality of life.
Within the program, medical psychology services are integrated with care provided by medical and rehabilitation specialists, which may include neurologists, neurosurgeons, pain management physicians, otolaryngology specialists, chiropractors, and physical therapists. This multidisciplinary approach allows participating providers to address the interconnected psychological, neurological, physical, and functional aspects of post-COVID recovery.
Treatment is individualized according to each patient’s clinical presentation and recovery needs, with an emphasis on symptom management, improved functioning, development of effective coping strategies, and meaningful progress toward greater independence and quality of life.
The COVID Recovery Program is available through participating Healthpointe clinics throughout Southern California.
