Evaluation

Ibemed offers multiple types of psychological evaluations. These evaluations are thorough and include a face to face clinical evaluation, psychometric testing, and medical record review. Psychological evaluations are completed to properly diagnose a patient and to develop the most effective treatment plan.

  Workers Compensation Injury Evaluation

Workers compensation injury evaluations are completed for patients who have sustained work injuries. Workers compensation injury evaluations are completed for patients who have sustained physical injuries and for patients that have experienced a traumatic incident and are now suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

 Work Stress Claim Evaluations

Arising Out of Employment/Course of Employment (AOE/COE)      Evaluations

AOE/COE evaluations are completed when there is a question as to whether a case is work related. Patients are evaluated and a determination is made as to whether there is causation for a specific case according to current workers compensation law.

 Qualified Medical Evaluations (QME)

Qualified medical evaluations are completed for injured workers by a qualified medical evaluator. Qualified medical evaluators write medical legal reports that address the issues of causation, impairment, apportionment, and future medical care.

 Agreed Medical Evaluations (AME)

Agreed medical evaluations (AME) are completed by a provider who is selected by agreement between the parties involved in a workers compensation claim. The provider completes a medical legal report to help resolve any disputes.

 Pre-Surgical Psychological Evaluations

Pre-surgical psychological evaluations are completed for patients when their surgeon is requesting surgery. Pre-surgical psychological evaluations determine whether the patient is psychologically cleared for surgery.

Fitness for duty psychological evaluations are conducted when there is reasonable concern that an employee cannot safely perform his or her job duties due to a psychological condition. The psychologist determines if the employee can safely complete his or her job duties.
