Ibemed develops and uses powerful performance tools to enhance patient flow and treatment outcomes. Through the use of performance tools, Ibemed ensures that each case is quickly processed and moved to a successful resolution. Ibemed’s proprietary performance tools are internally developed and applied where Ibemed is providing evaluation, treatment, and program services.
Efficient Patient Flow (EPF)
The efficient patient flow (EPF) tool is a process tool developed by Ibemed to optimize health system integration. The efficient patient flow tool helps Ibemed improve patient outcomes by monitoring patients as they progress through the healthcare system. By utilizing the EPF tool, patient progress is monitored from evaluation, through treatment, and up to discharge. The EPF tool helps providers oversee patient advancement and it ensures that patients are working and reaching maximal medical improvement as quickly as possible.
Internal Review (IR)
The internal review (IR) process enables Ibemed to confirm that treatment provided to patients is necessary and based on treatment guidelines. The IR process helps detect and avoid treatment that is unnecessary. By taking a magnifying glass to each case, the Ibemed IR process identifies any issues with adherence, improper treatment, treatment delays, and inadequate progress. Once an issue is identified, Ibemed immediately intervenes, making sure each issue is resolved successfully.
Algorithm
Ibemed uses a proprietary algorithm to ensure that cases are processed optimally through the health care system. Cases are systematically reviewed and then processed through the proper pathway. Pathways are developed according to current laws and treatment guidelines. This process enables each case to be evaluated quickly and then moved along toward successful resolution.
Return to Work (RTW)
The return to work (RTW) tool is a process tool developed by Ibemed to optimize patient return to work. Work can help patients decrease their psychopathological symptoms. Through the Ibemed RTW tool, patients are monitored to ensure they are on the path of returning to work full duty. This RTW tool involves monitoring patient progress as they move from modified duty to full duty.
Watch List
The Ibemed Watch List tool helps providers monitor patient progress whenever a case is more complex and needs special attention. Cases that may need special attention include cases that require crisis stabilization as well as cases that have complex referrals that require extra consideration for authorization. Through the patient Watch List, Ibemed ensures that cases received the attention they need so that they can progress.
